After extensive crowd-testing at their first live shows back, Subtronics and Sullivan King are releasing their highly anticipated collaborative cut, and debut joint effort, “Take Flight.” Featuring Sullivan King’s distinctive heavy metal-primed vocals and both artists’ genre-bending production styles, the new track menacingly blurs the divides between hardcore rock and bass music for a neck-breaking hybrid cut aptly named for its singular moshing directive. Both Subtronics and Sullivan King recently performed at Excision‘s two-day Reunion event at Legend Valley, Ohio. Subtronics recently collaborated with Ace Aura on the track “Resist” for his Cyclops Recordings label compilation in May, while Sullivan King released the single “DOMINATION” alongside Kayzo and Papa Roach in April. Now, “Take Flight” sees two of the bass genre’s most in-demand talents going head-to-head on a wild low-end thrill ride.
