Outwild rounds up KC for brand new single, ‘One Night’

With summer now in full swing, festivals are steadily dropping lineups, clubs are beginning to open their doors, and finally a sense of normalcy is creeping back into nightlife and entertainment. Though, darker days are still close in the rearview, and the soaring feeling of experiencing live music together taking a backseat for more than a year certainly took its tolls. However, the newly delivered “One Night” is here to take us back to nights of serotonin-made serenity. The second release on Canadian-born Outwild’s brand new label Sleeping Sun Collective, “One Night” weaves sonic euphoria with a splendid vocal hook from Nashville-based vocalist KC. In Outwild’s own words, the summer dance anthem “is an expression of subtlety, moments that we took for granted far too often” and harps back to the dance anthems of the early 2010’s “when life felt limitless.” KC adds that, “this song allowed us to escape the isolation and computer screens and just imagine one night of being carefree with our friends.”Outwild continues a strong stretch of releases with “One Night” coming on the heels of a pair of remixes for Xavi’s “Our Languish” and Nurko’s “Blindspot” as well as the debut original Sleeping Sun Collective single “With Clouds Below” in 2021. The emerging producer has also been a staple on Seven Lions’ imprint, Ophelia Records, having released his debut label EP Everbright in 2020.
