Indie-electronic stand out Goth Babe, is neither a goth, nor a babe, but that doesn’t stop the LA-based producer from impressing on his latest Protect Our Winters EP. A tightly knit ensemble of laid back cuts the quick pressing is a partnership with climate change activists “Protect Our Winters.” Literally produced on the road, the nomadic producer built a studio in his van and drove around the country while writing and creating. Joined by Dre’es on “Blue Skies,” Goth Babe kicks off the EP with a shoegaze-y gem that throws it back to the indie blog days. The follow up, “Laurelhurst” is equally delightful, buoyed by a persistent clap, gentle strumming, and lo-fi crooning courtesy of Goth Babe himself. The final track on the EP was also its first single,” I Wanna Help Your Mind” — a showcase of not only GB’s songwriting ability, but his knack for splitting time between touching tunes and four-to-the-floor energy. For any fans of indie electronic, Goth Babe needs to be on your radar.Categories: Music © 2021 Copyright Dancing Astronaut LLC. Built By: A Digital Kingdom.
