Major Lazer offer Paloma Mami-assisted ‘QueLoQue’ ahead of forthcoming LP

Shortly after unveiling the details for their forthcoming studio album Music is the Weapon, Major Lazer shared a new single. Recruiting 20-year-old singer Paloma Mami, the dancehall group concoct reggaeton-infused electronic heat on their latest delivery, “QueLoQue.” Preceded by the Mr. Eazi, Nicki Minaj, and K4MO collaboration, “Oh My Gawd,” the cut contributes to a glittering tracklist featuring J Balvin, French Montana, Alessia Cara, Khalid, and more. Classic reggaeton stylings dominate in “QueLoQue,” which weaves fiery Latin-inspired guitar instrumentation with dance-primed beats. Boisterous yet sultry, the production spotlights the Chilean-American songstress’ vocals as the rhythmic landscape ebbs and flows from a serenade to a heavy club hitter. Always ones to watch in their prolific collaborative outputs, Major Lazer gear up the anticipation for their fourth full-length project as it rapidly approaches. Music is the Weapon arrives October 23. Featured image: Major Lazer/InstagramTags: , , , ,
