Almost a year ago, Lido released the single “How To Do Nothing,” tweeting that he was “so ready to start this new wave of music.” Now, the culmination of his efforts is fully available with the release of his long-awaited LP, PEDER. His most expansive and ambitious work to date, Lido tells the story of a boy that grew up on a spaceship across the LP’s 12 tracks. Contrasting the singles preceding the record, PEDER hosts several feature artists, including Ebenezer, Col3trane, Mulherin, Heavy Mellow, and Brandon Areaga of PRETTYMUCH (who has writing credits all over PEDER). PEDER‘s story has been partially told through the three music videos Lido released for “Rise,” “How To Do Nothing,” and “Postclubridehomemusic.” Additionally, Lido has teased the release of a children’s book continuing the story of PEDER.
