Otto Yliperttula (Yotto) and Karolus Viitala last collided under their benevolent name and sound, Something Good alias eight years ago. Resurrecting the duo, the two Finnish Producers have brought back a classic tune with a special rework of the nostalgic, Corona-original “The Rhythm of the Night,” native to the mid-’90s. Out now via Armada Music, “Rhythm (Of The Night) is Yotto’s first release since “Hollow” with MOONE was released in September. Fans of Yotto remember “Rhythm (Of The Night)” from when the DJ closed his set with the remix at Above & Beyond‘s 2019 Weekender at The Gorge Amphitheater. While many followers of Yotto believed this remix would never see the light of day, he surprised everyone by not only releasing “Rhythm (Of The Night),” but also reviving Something Good in the process. Diving into deep progressive sounds, Something Good’s take on the vintage dance cut is heavy on chord progressions and life-giving melodies with a more subtle focus on the original lyrics. The neon, Tron-like artwork for the single provides more framework for the futuristic melodic-techno take on “Rhythm (Of The Night)”.
