Toronto’s VELD Festival has announced the first phase of the event’s 2020 lineup, revealing some of the largest names in today’s electronic music landscape as headliners for the two-day event. Taking place at Toronto’s Downsview Park over August 1 – 2, 2020, Armin Van Buuren, Illenium, and Martin Garrix are among the top line talent for the festival weekend.
In addition to the headlining electronic acts, hip-hop artists Tyga and DaBaby will perform at the festival. Among the 40+ artists announced, VELD sees the return of a prominent house and techno crowd with the additions of Tchami, i_o, Camelphat, Eli Brown, among may others.
Canadian promoter, INK Events first brought VELD Festival to fruition in 2014, where the lineup was topped by steadfast artists during the boom of big-room music. Today, the event’s lineup is heavily focused around favored names in electronic music, along with rising forces in the hip-hop scene. View the full phase one announcement below.
