Turner Club return with “Stronger“, their sophomore release on Turner Club Music, and it’s four tracks that continue their poetic dialogue between the dancefloor and the inner world. Building on the themes and emotional architecture of their debut “Hearts and Minds”, the new EP showcases a duo fully committed to storytelling through groove, synth, and soul.
Long before they were producers, Turner Club were dedicated to creating unforgettable events. Meeting at a Danny Krivit show and bonding over a shared love for deep house, their friendship unfolded into decades of dance music devotion. They started throwing parties in the 2000s and 2010s that featured heavyweights like Theo Parrish and Moodymann; and inspired by these experiences, they began to produce.
On “Stronger”, the title track opens with polyrhythmic playfulness and bright, skipping drums, anchored by an uplifting vocal that urges resilience. “Lost in the Silence” slows the pulse, emerging gently with swirling melodies and a vocal arc that moves from introspective ache to euphoria.
Craig Smith’s remix of “Stronger” reimagines the track with subtlety and tension, with its stripped-back vocals, swelling pads, and punchy low end forming a hypnotic swirl of feeling and movement. Closing the EP is “Dazzling Green Eyes,” a slow-burning love letter of warm keys and tender phrasing, glowing with vulnerability. Take a listen to that one here:
There’s a quiet confidence in “Stronger”. Just like when they were mainly promoters throwing parties, they’re dedicated to sharing experiences. These tracks are deeply lived-in, drawing from years of experience, transforming memory into melody. We love house music with heart, and the “Stronger” EP is a perfect example of it.
