It’s a good day when there’s a Tiësto release, and an even better day when that release includes 5 brand new tracks. The latest EP, titled Together Again, represents a long-awaited return to the club– for fans and Tiësto alike. While the Dutch superstar rides a wave of momentum from his recent radio-friendly single alongside Latin superstar Karol G, Together Again simply exudes Tiësto’s appreciation for being able to return to the club, arguably setting the agenda for next year’s trending sounds along the way.Much like its predecessor, 2019’s Together, the new release gives fans a smattering of both carefully selected collabs and Tiësto penned originals. Leading the charge is “Oohla Oohla”, a joint effort with fellow Dutch tastemakers Lucas & Steve, whose signature penchant for creating tomorrow’s club sound makes for the perfect compliment to Tiësto’s tried and true style. Other collaborations include “Money” alongside Killfake, which churns Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s iconic “Got Your Money” sample into a proper house groove, and the vocally soothing “Be Something” produced with Ummet Ozcan and Tomhio. While each of the three collaborations make for perfect club-fodder, it’s the EP’s two solo Tiësto tracks that take things right back to the festival MainStage. Titled “Clickbait” and “I’ll Take You High,” both originals incorporate the larger than life trance elements that Tiësto was once known for but are presented with a fresh coat of polish for the modern rave. The Together Again EP is out now. via Tiësto’s very own Musical Freedom.
