One of Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2022 has come in to put his touch on one of the tracks that earned a spot on our top 100 electronic tracks of 2021. Not even a full three days after Tchami and Habstrakt checked their names off the French house dream collaboration list alongside Lena Leon, Honey & Badger took to his socials to share an unfinished version of his take on “Eternity,” with an overwhelming call from his followers to both complete and release it. A little more than four months later and that demo from Honey & Badger is now doubling as both the first official update of “Eternity” and his first release of the year.As if there was ever any doubt as to why he was included amongst the names that we predicted would have a breakout year, Honey & Badger solidifies that placement right off the bat in 2022 and marks his second official take on Tchami after “Ghosts” in 2020. Those that were in attendance during select dates throughout the recently concluded Confession vs. Nightbass tour had the opportunity to hear Tchami take the remix for a spin, with Honey & Badger repositioning “Eternity” from French house over to Belgian house, challenging his sound with a more mellow but still unfailingly refreshing character as he does justice to a production from two artists that he says are part of why he even started making music in the first place.FeFeatured image: shotbywozniakTags: confession, Habstrakt, honey & badger, lena leon, Tchami
