On October 22, the list of LPs attached to Sonny Fodera‘s name will expand by one—Wide Awake. The hefty, 14-cut collection, due via Fodera’s own Solotoko label, began to take shape with the Sinead Harnett and KOLIDESCOPES-assisted “Nah,” which, following its July 16 arrival, racked up 6 million global streams in its first five weeks. Needless to say, that’s a tough act to follow, but Fodera furnishes a formidable successor: “Angel” featuring Clementine Douglas. A horn-accented, ambient house addition to the Wide Awake tracklist, “Angel” is the Shazam-worthy stuff of summer drive dreams. Providing a further preview of what remains to come on Wide Awake, a studio album to source cameos from Diplo, MK, Vintage Culture, and more, “Angel” is available below in all of its celestial glory.Featured image: Elliot YoungTags: Clementine Douglas, house, Sonny Fodera, Wide Awake
