Solomun, Anyma breathe new life into RÜFÜS DU SOL’s ‘Alive’ with new remixes

Fresh off the return from their three-year hiatus, RÜFÜS DU SOL have bestowed fans with the opportunity to continue rinsing their latest offering, “Alive,” with some fresh new perspectives.Following the unveiling of his sophomore album nearly 12 years in the making, Nobody Is Not Loved, Solomun delivers an eight-minute edit as well as another revision approximately half the length of this initial contribution to the remix pack. After recently teasing his version at EXIT Festival, the final remix features a slinking bass line in tandem with pitched-up, syncopated synth work, the Bosnian-German authority kneads a haunting yet melodic persuasion throughout RÜFÜS DU SOL’s original framework.Matteo Milleri, best known as one half of Tale Of Us, continues building out his latest project, Anyma, injecting his own techno distillery into “Alive.” Conjoining with crisp kicks, a steep build-up, and a deep bass line, the track takes on a life of its own, oscillating between melancholic and relentlessly rhythmic. So far, RÜFÜS DU SOL’s comeback has been nothing short of impressive. Garnering more than four million combined global streams, a premiere on The Zane Lowe Show, the top track on Australia’s Triple J, “Alive” continues to break barriers for one of dance music’s most treasured trios.
