On the two-year anniversary of RL Grime’s sophomore album, NOVA, the Sable Valley boss delivered an unforeseen sliver of news to celebrate. For the first time in his newly-founded label’s history, Sable Valley will put forth a 15-track compilation album, scheduled to release on August 14. Although no concrete details are available about the album aside from its length and due date, RL Grime set the project’s teaser visual to his yet to be released collaboration with Whethan, prompting reasonable assumption that its inclusion is all but official.
Based on artist confirmations as well as predictions from ’s r/trap community, other members of SABLE VALLEY SUMMER VOL. 1 may include the likes of Knock2, ISOxo, JAWNS, Montell2099, Juelz, Heimanu, Masayoshi Iimori, and many more.
While the clock counts down until mid-August, watch the compilation’s teaser below and relive RL Grime’s recently-streamed set from Outside Lands 2019.
