ODESZA give way to sixth and final album single, ‘Light Of Day’ with Ólafur Arnalds

With five out of 13 total tracks from ODESZA‘s The Last Goodbye having already been released over the past handful of months, listeners have been anxiously awaiting the exhaustive delivery of their senior album on July 22. Thankfully for the Foreign Family‘s loyal fanbase, they’ve given a sixth and final LP preview with just one week to go, delivering “Light Of Day” alongside Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist, Ólafur Arnalds.“Light Of Day” surfaces as arguably one of ODESZA’s most enrapturing tracks to date, beginning with Arnald’s elegant piano arrangement before slipping subtly into Stephen Ambrose’s airy, comforting 1970 vocal sample and ODESZA’s classic downtempo production. Mounting to a moment where both electronic and instrumental elements align, The Last Goodbye‘s tracklist finale is the perfect ending to the producers’ new sonic landscape. ODESZA shared a message alongside the single’s release, stating,The rollout of ODESZA’s impending LP has been memorable to say the least, emitting five pre-album singlesz—one of which was used at Apple Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference—that coincided with the 13th edition of their NO.SLEEP mix series.
