The anticipation for Nurko’s debut EP Arrival only continues to build with each single in the project’s rollout. Released via Proximity, his third single “Spinnin’ Wheels” with JT Roach is decidedly more chill than some of his other festival-ready masterclasses in progressive house. But according to the man himself, “it’s important for an artist to expand and do different things.” His latest allows him to do just that, and on this Arrival bout, one of our Artists to Watch in 2021 can be heard showing off the softer side of the Nurko project. The Arrival EP corresponds with Nurko’s first-ever headlining tour, set to kick off later this month in Portland on March 10. The live initiative also features dates at The Church in Denver, Akyway Theater in Minneapolis, and Webster Hall in New York, to name just a few. “Spinnin’ Wheels” is the third single from the EP, following “Disappearing Now” with Chandler Leighton and their collaboration with Crystal Skies, “Lost Without You” featuring Knownasnat.
