NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were two of nine people who died in a helicopter crash outside of Los Angeles. The basketball star who retired from the NBA in 2016 passed on his talents to Gianna. He often coached her one-on-one, telling Jimmy Kimmel in 2018 that fans tell him, “’You gotta have a boy, you and V gotta have a boy. You gotta have somebody to carry on the tradition and the legacy,’ and she’s like, ‘Oh, I got this.’”
