k?d is paving his return with an ambient remix of Hikaru Utada’s “One Last Kiss.” Speeding up the original’s BPM to place his own unique spin on the single, k?d ramps up song with a jittering energy. Isolating the vocals to create an echo, k?d manages to completely transform the cut into his own. Hikaru Utada’s “One Last Kiss” appeared in Neon Genesis Evangelion, k?d noted, adding that once he heard it, he had to get his hands on the track:“One Last Kiss” is k?d’s second track of the year, following his collaboration with Steve Aoki, “BIB,” released at the start of 2021.
