Katy Perry will be gracing Tomorrowland this year with a performance, though unfortunately it won’t be at the Belgian festival’s world renowned main stage. Instead, joining a lineup of more than 60 other artists across eight virtual stages, Perry will perform at Around The World’s virtual main stage, Pāpiliōnem, on Saturday, July 25, promising a dazzling audiovisual spectacle of her pop-defining catalog. Perry is also expected to debut new music from her highly anticipated fifth studio LP, Smile. On the new announcement, Perry said in a press statement,
“I’ve always wanted to be a part of the fun of Tomorrowland, and have been following the amazing innovation, technology, and invention that this festival has always been about for a long time. I’m so glad to be a part of this version, and I hope my set makes you smile.”
Perry enlisted a little help from a relatively popular DJ in Tomorrowland’s circles… you know, Martin Garrix, to help announce the upcoming performance and to hype fans on the upcoming virtual festival’s visually innovative digital aesthetic. Tickets to Tomorrowland’s virtual Around The World festival clock in at just under $25 for a weekend pass. Learn more information and get a look at the full Around The World lineup here.
