ISOxo is continuing to set the dance music world on fire, this time with his long-awaited house original, “inhuman.” Out now via Nightmode, “inhuman” is decidedly lighter than what we’ve come to expect from the Nightrealm producer who’s revered for his heavy-hitting trap sound. But the new single shows off ISOxo’s impeccable production depth and further proves that he’s not going to be bound by a single genre.“inhuman” has roots dating all the way back to ISOxo’s KIDSGONEMAD set during RL Grime‘s Halloween IX livestream in October 2020. The ID-laden stream was a coming-out party of sorts for the San Diego-based producer. With much of the dance music world trapped at home due to the COVID-induced lockdowns, fans took to their computers and TVs to watch the first-ever livestream for the Sable Valley boss’s iconic holiday series. ISOxo’s set included the entirety of his yet-to-be released Nightrealm EP as well as quite a few other IDs that have still yet to see the light of day. But at long last, listeners can check another ID off the list with the release of his haunting house track—formally known as “inhuman”—that graced the set with its presence around the midway mark. And not only was the track introduced almost two years ago to the day, but it also plays as the ideal soundtrack to the holiday as well.ISOxo is currently in the middle of his NIGHTREALM tour‘s second phase that features stops in Seattle, Chicago, New Orleans, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and a double dose of dates at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles that will properly close out his NIGHTREALM era. “inhuman” comes on the heels of his collaboration with Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 FrostTop, “Angels Landing,” which received a nod as one of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2022.
