2021 was another year filled with prime example on top of prime example where STMPD RCRDS asserted its place as one of dance music’s most consistent outposts for forward-thinking house music. Just like Martin Garrix and his Dutch imprint put forth in 2020, two different frontiers of STMPD RCRDS releases were met and split down the middle for a pair of end-of-year mixes that reflects on some of the label’s standout credits from all 12 months of 2021. With Martin Garrix now on a brief touring pause until he returns to Las Vegas in February and an outstretched list of incoming label IDs still waiting to be unlocked, STMPD RCRDS secured just short of two hours of running music to take us into the first week of the new year. Broken up into both a Side A and Side B, STMPD RCRDS’ 2021 mixtape first dives into its bank of more festival-ready cuts like Garrix, Matisse & Sadko, and John Martin’s “Won’t Let You Go,” DubVision and Deep Vice’s “Bad Blood,” Matt Nash’s “Now Or Never,” and Seth Hills’ “Solitude.” And on its end-of-year B Side, STMPD RCRDS parades through its “more house and grooved style tracks,” including Bleu Clair and OOTORO’s “Beat Like This,” NUZB and Malarkey’s “Miss Me,” LOOPERS‘ “Greed,” Josh Charm and Mahalo’s “Missing You,” and Drove and Dillon Francis’ “Places.”Enjoy each of STMPD RCRDS’ 2021 mixtapes below.Featured image: Louis van BaarTags: bleu clair, Dillon Francis, drove, DubVision, john martin, Loopers, Mahalo, Malarkey, Martin garrix, matisse & sadko, NUZB, ootoro, stmpd rcrds
