Out now via YouTube, John Summit has shared the deeper, darker set from his two-night weekend stint at the iconic Shrine in Los Angeles. Headlining one of Los Angeles’s most well-known music venues on October 1 and 2, Summit took the decks for over two hours on back-to-back nights. While Dancing Astronaut was in attendance for October 1, John Summit showcased a departure in style for his second night at the esteemed venue, and then shortly followed it up with a similar set at Brooklyn Mirage just a week later.Starting his second performance with a brand new ID, Summit had his crowd hooked from the jump. With quick-hitting techno drums and dark bass lines pulsing across the set, Summit created a warehouse rave atmosphere inside a concert venue with the crowd effortlessly wrapped around his finger. Night one had the confetti, but the more gritty outing brought the pyrotechnics, a fitting blast of heat to accompany Summit’s laser-focused second night performance. IDs from Mau P, Disfreq, Kill Script, and even private ID remixes proved that John Summit’s October 2 show at The Shrine was one to remember.
