Excision reinforces bass legacy with heavy-hitter LP, ‘Onyx’

Excision‘s newest album has finally arrived via Subsidia, and it carries the heavy bass and ear-shattering rhythms that all his fans know and love. Onyx listeners back through time to the lands of early humans and a wild Earth, each blistering moment building upon the last. Enlisting the likes of Hairitage, Sullivan King, Dion Timmer, Donna Tella, Sarah de Warren, Kai Wachi, Kompany, Alexis Donn, and Natalie Major, Onyx highlights much of the Excision-run record label’s top talents. Timmer joins the Dubstep Don for three of the album’s 17 tracks, lending his talents to “End Of The World,” “Encounter,” and “Salvation.” Carrying sweet melodies and absolutely earth-shaking beats, Onyx continues on Excision’s undeniable legacy as one of bass music’s most prominent driving force.
