British drum ‘n’ bass duo Chase & Status have furnished the third single of the rollout for their sixth studio album,What Came Before. The follow-up to “When It Rains” and “Don’t Be Scared” featuring Takura, “Mixed Emotions” is exactly what its title suggests; emotive lyrics, buoyed by a long buildup that breaks in drum work and smooth basslines. What Came Before will clock in at 13 tracks on June 10.
