Carlita Drops ‘fabric presents’ Mix with 13 Tracks, New Originals & an Exclusive Room 2 Takeover

Carlita is stepping into the spotlight for the next installment of fabric presents, the legendary mix series that’s been defining underground dance music for over 25 years. Out April 11 via fabric Records, this carefully curated mix spans deep grooves, left-field techno, and peak-time house, featuring tracks from Butch, Alex Metric, Paco Osuna, and two brand-new originals from Carlita herself—“Raf” and “Stop Now.”

To mark the announcement, the first single, “Raf,” a collab with Toronto producer Andre Zimmer, is out now. It’s a hypnotic, groove-heavy roller that fuses classic house energy with a modern rave-ready sound—soulful vocals, punchy synths, rolling breakbeats, and a deep, tech-house bassline that hits hard on a proper system.

A Mix That Bridges Scenes and Sounds

If you’ve followed Carlita’s rise, you already know she’s got an ear for the unexpected. Her fabric presents mix is exactly that—genre-blurring, unpredictable, and effortlessly cool. Across 13 tracks, she balances underground house with off-kilter techno, featuring cuts from both scene staples and rising talent like Prunk, Toman, Alinka, and D Stone.

It’s a snapshot of her unique approach as both a selector and a producer, bridging worlds between her deep musical background and her instinct for what works in a club.

Adding her name to the same series that’s hosted The Martinez Brothers, Andrew Weatherall, Confidence Man, and Surgeon is no small moment.

More Than Just a DJ – Carlita’s Expanding Influence

Carlita’s impact stretches beyond the DJ booth. She’s become a go-to name for exclusive events, performing for Louis Vuitton, Versace, and Fendi, while also crafting some of the most immersive electronic experiences at her own Senza Fine parties, where music, art, and fashion collide.

Her growing catalog of music proves she’s got the production chops to match. Last year, she made waves with her debut album Sentimental on Ninja Tune, dropping stunning remixes for Disclosure and RÜFÜS DU SOL along the way.

Her journey into music started way before the clubs, though. A classically trained musician, she played cello for the Royal Academy of Music in London and picked up piano at just three years old.
