Techno legends Carl Cox and Franky Wah are back in action on the latest preview from Cox’s forthcoming Electronic Generations LP, “See the Sun Rising.” Their second all-time collaboration follows September 2021’s “We Are One,” released via Ministry of Sound Recordings. “I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with Carl on a record prior to this one, so to work on a second track is just a testament to how smooth the writing process between us is,” says Wah. “I visited his home last year and he mentioned he had an album coming out but I had no idea he’d ask me to be a part of it, so when the opportunity came, I was honored. He sent through a handful of ideas but the melody and the song name ‘See The Sun Rising’ really clicked with me.”Led by rhythm and melody, “See the Sun Rising” is the latest preview of Electronic Generations sound to hit streaming platforms, succeeding “How It Makes You Feel” with Nicole Moudaber in June. Notably, the 17-track album, to be distributed via BMG on October 28, will be Cox’s first in more than a decade and will premiere in full during his October 17 event at OVO Wembley Arena.
