Calvin Harris assists on Example’s ‘Some Nights Last For Days’

Nearly eight years have come and gone since Calvin Harris and Example’s immortal outing, “18 Months.” After pursuing a release schedule under the Love Regenerator brand since the top of the decade, the former is returning to his original identity to reconvene with Example on his seventh LP, Some Nights Last For Days.

Lending a production hand on the album’s title track, Calvin Harris picks up precisely where he left off during his Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 days, taking a more mellow direction on “Some Nights Last for Days” than on the duo’s 2012 collaboration.

“Some Night Last For Days” will not be Harris’ last appearance under his own name during the summer 2020 season. Releasing July 16 Defected Records, “Live Without Your Love” will see Harris come full circle after submitting a demo to the legendary imprint in the late ’90s. “Live Without Your Love” will mark Harris’ first release under his own name since January 2019’s “Giant.”
