Bleu Clair powers Smokin Beats, Lyn Eden’s 1996 classic ‘Dreams’ with tech-house retouch

2021 ending doesn’t hold any weight in terms of Bleu Clair’s Dancing Astronaut artist to watch status, and he’s carrying that right over into the new year. Following a breakthrough run that was rounded out by his six-sided EP and most monolithic labor thus far in Prelude, Bleu Clair is dipping back into the ID bag from his first-ever North American tour to deliver his take on Smokin Beats and Lyn Eden’s 1996 classic, “Dreams.”Insetting the UK garage-based original with his eye-catching brand of galvanic tech-house that charged his move from Jakarta over to the U.S. during 2021’s latter half, Bleu Clair does justice to Smokin Beats and Lyn Eden’s late-’90s single, holding onto its soulful nature and adding his own flavor to “Dreams” that powers it with a more modern-day compatibility. While Bleu Clair now looks towards his inevitable return to the western hemisphere for another touring round this spring and summer, stream his “Dreams” rework below.Featured image: Alex EstradaTags: , , ,
