There’s no better way to set up for a back-to-back set at EDC Las Vegas than with a new collaboration between both artists. And that’s exactly what Bleu Clair and Matroda decided to do just a week before they hit the stereoBLOOM stage on day one. A year to the day after they partnered up for the first time on “Disco Tool,” the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 and Terminal Underground boss decided it was an opportune moment to run it back before they head to the desert, this time taking to Insomniac Records for “PWR.”Featured on EDC Las Vegas’ official 2022 compilation, the “Disco Tool” successor was born amidst Bleu Clair’s first tour in North America at the end of 2021 when he opted to rent a studio in Los Angeles with Matroda. Doubling down on the Aptly titled, “PWR” brings another nostalgic sample to the surface as Bleu Clair and Matroda fuse both a piano-house breakdown and tech-house apex for a soulful reunion that will serve them well come the early hours of May 21.Featured image: Alex EstradaTags: bleu clair, EDC Las Vegas, Insomniac Records, matroda
