AC Slater, Curbi convene for ‘Crave The Bassline’

For his first release under the Night Bass label, Curbi can be found partnering with label boss AC Slater to produce a thumping house tune that’ll make streamers “Crave The Bassline.” Curbi gives the track some heavy UK bass, which meshes with AC Slater’s aggressive 808s and kicks. “Crave The Bassline” shed its ID status at Curbi’s release party at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, where he and AC Slater collaboratively previewed the new cut. Although there was no formal back-to-back performance, the artists effectively manned the four decks throughout the course of the evening, spinning everything from night-bass, bass-house, and UK garage. Of note, the collaboration is AC Slater’s second release of 2022, trailing “Only One” alongside Tchami and Kate Wild, which surfaced on Confession X Night Bass: The Album. Meanwhile, “Crave The Bassline” follows Curbi’s two year-opening numbers, “Losing Sleep” and a remix of Naeleck and Sarah Rebecca’s “All My Heroes.”Featured image: @mercphotography/InstagramTags: , , , , , , , , ,
