Amsterdam Dance Event: A stunning collection of electronic music’s finest
Summer is fast becoming a distant memory.. Meaning we are once again on the horizon of the chaotic brilliance of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) – set to return once October 16-20, 2024. Spanning five days and nights, the festival will host over 1,000 events across 200 venues, featuring more than 3,000 artists from around the globe. This unparalleled celebration of electronic music solidifies ADE’s status as the world’s largest club-based festival and conference for the genre.
This year’s edition kicks off with five unique opening concerts, including performances by Dutch singer Eefje de Visser at the Van Gogh Museum and Nick Verstand & the Cello Octet at DOOR OPEN SPACE. Other highlights include collaborations such as Metropole Orkest’s tribute to J Dilla at Melkweg, and an eclectic mix of live performances at venues like BIMHUIS and Zuiderkerk.
Alongside the conferences, talks and industry insight, punters can look forward to heavyweights like Kölsch, Pete Tong, Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, DJ Nobu, and Cera Khin, alongside emerging talent. With diverse genres and cutting-edge performances, ADE continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.
In addition to the festival, ADE Pro will gather industry professionals for a series of panels, networking events, and discussions on the future of the electronic music scene. Cooking With Palms Traxx – Bajes, Amsterdam
Hosted in a FORMER PRISON SPACE!! Palms Trax is presenting this year’s ADE cook-off at the former Amsterdam prison ‘Bajes’. The selector himself will take the stage with a special seven-hour solo performance, playing all night long for the very first time in the Dutch capital.
AWAKENINGS: Upclose presents – Four Tet @ Gashouder
Announcing ADE Upclose presents Four Tet at the Gashouder, where he will be playing an extended set. A personal Gashouder session on October 18.
