As the melodic house and techno movement continues to grow throughout dance music, there is certainly no shortage of talent on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife label. The up-and-coming star is no doubt Kevin de Vries from Germany, a well-connected producer in the underground melodic house scene. His latest single “Dance With Me” cements de Vries as a can’t miss artist for 2022. Coming off a strong run of remixes in 2022 and 2021, Kevin de Vries ceremoniously unveils “Dance With Me” as his first original since 2020’s collaborative Hoffnungsschimmer EP with Innellea. Out now on the Afterlife label, “Dance With Me” was first widely showcased to the world when Tale Of Us opened their first-ever Tomorrowland mainstage set with de Vries’s new single. Masterfully layered and sequenced drums prelude the catchy “Stop, look into my eyes / Hold my hand / Dance with me” vocal. As the deep bassline vibrates the dancefloor, it is easy to see how de Vries’s unique synth adds thickness to the pulsating melody. After listening to de Vries’s latest single, it was only right that he was honored with closing Tomorrowland Weekend 3’s Core Stage with Konstantin Sibold.
