Excision, Wooli announce another joint EP alongside first single, ‘NAME DROP’

Dance music fans have always craved collaborations with the biggest and most beloved DJs in the world. One of dupstep’s prime examples of this craze comes each year at Bass Canyon. The festival features a swath of special b2b performances like that of Wooli and Excision. Instinctively, the two dubstep stars thought it was time to not just formulate another track together, but another EP for the fans to hotly anticipate. The duo recently dropped the first track “Name Drop,” slated to appear on the upcoming EP. Excision and Wooli joined forces back in 2019 for their first collaborative EP, Evolution. The first venture is comprised of four tracks, amounting to 14 minutes of searing bass and suspense as the two so graciously collided in dubstep Valhalla. To begin the anarchy, “Name Drop” arrives with a major head-banging melody, along with surprising vocal samples from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, via his first-ever rap single “Face Off” with Tech N9ne. The two did not announce how many tracks would be on their new EP, nor did they share a release date. Wooli incited the buzz by offering a snippet of the track recently in his îLESONIQ set. Simultaneously, Excision joined in on the hype, bringing attention to the new material via Twitter. “Name Drop” is available for sweet, bass-crazy assault of the eardrums on streaming platforms everywhere.Featured Image: Lost Lands Tags: , , , ,
