Justus drops off Hardwell-backed original, ‘Speed’

One of the IDs from Hardwell‘s first stop of his Rebels Never Die tour is out, and it’s not from him. Justus was the name behind a track that had many scouring for after both the Revealed Recordings boss played it out in Jerusalem and Zedd dropped it while standing atop EDC Las Vegas’ kineticFIELD this past May. And exactly as it title suggests, “Speed” has already arrived without any bit of waiting, with Justus taking to Spinnin’ Records to round the release bases for a fifth time in 2022.Before properly tracking Justus’ name down, some had originally predicted that the single could’ve belonged to Hardwell himself, with “Speed” perfectly finding a home amid the Rebels Never Die set tracklist. It’s almost undoable to attempt to pinpoint a singular genre that “Speed” falls under, with Justus clouding stylistic borders with a spirited mixture of bigroom, bass house, techno, and Future Rave as he continues to illustrate why he’s deserving of the support from some of the planet’s biggest names.
