Dexterously talented Belgian selector Charlotte de Witte has unveiled her latest bass-thumping techno EP Universal Consciousness. Out via her own KNTXT record label, de Witte provides four distinct acid-riddled techno tunes in her latest venture. Universal Consciousness is Charlotte de Witte’s latest EP since 2021’s Asura.The opening track to Universal Consciousness, “Satori” quickly starts kicks into high-energy mode before introducing de Witte’s signature acid-filled synthwork. The next two tracks “Kali” and the titular “Universal Consciousness” continue to bolster the EP’s energetic framework with up-tempo drums and rapid melodies. The closing track, “Ahimsa” represents the producer’s stripped-back take on minimalist techno and encompasses a dark atmosphere, making for an entrancing listen from core to perimeter.
