Apparat and Modeselektor reunited in February to announce that their collaborative project, Moderat, would soon see the release of its first album in six years: MORE D4TA. Already, the first two singles, “Fast Land” and “Easy Prey” have arrived. With influence from vocalist Sascha Ring, the record’s third single, “More Love,” surfaces with a healthy dose of soft vocals and fluttering instrumentals. In an effortless and delicate fashion, Apparat and Modeselektor capture heartache and the depth of falling in love in a single breath under the Moderat name. MORE D4TA will include 10 songs, with “Fast Land” serving as the first song on the record’s tracklist, which is expected to grapple with feelings of isolation and information overload, in sync with what the world has experienced at a large scale in recent years. “More Love” sits at No. 7 on the tracklist. More D4TA, which will follow their last LP, 2016’s Live, is due to arrive on May 13 via Monkeytown Records.Featured image: Carmina CortezTags: Apparat, Moderat, Modeselektor
