Nurko’s debut EP, Arrival gets its outro in the form of its final single “Breathing Again” with Skye Silansky. The record rounds out the stellar five-track EP and features that quintessential euphoric, festival-ready sound that Nurko so consistently delivers. However, it comes in a departure from the melodic-bass mastery we typically expect from him. “Breathing Again” tiptoes the line between bass music and progressive house, one that results in a welcome unison between the two genres and highlights the producer’s sharpening dexterity. Skye Silansky’s vocals perfectly complement the grandiose nature of the Arrival‘s closer.Named one of our Artists to Watch in 2021, the Proximity-backed Arrival truly cements Nurko as an artist that is here to stay. The complexity and consistency over the course of the five tracks shows off exactly what makes the Nurko project so magnetizing, while demonstrating he has the production chops to continue to grow as an artist with plenty of runway ahead. Nurko is at the front end of his first ever headlining tour, one that features recently announced support from Crystal Skies and Far Out on select dates, that features stops at New York’s Webster Hall and Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland to name a few.
