Trivecta and Rico & Miella have proven yet again to be the perfect trio with their new single “Open Road,” out now on Seven Lions‘ Ophelia Records. “Open Road” follows up their first collaboration “Everyday,” the title track from Trivectas’ debut Ophelia EP released in 2020. The second album single comes hot on the heels of lead track “Sail Away” with singer-songwriter Jay Mason, setting the tone for the anticipated project to follow. Pulling inspiration from folk music and melodic bass, “Open Road” shines in its reflection of both Trivectas’ unique production style and Rico & Miellas’ grassroots background. The guitar-heavy verses paired alongside a powerful, yet down-to-earth vocal performance lead into a technically sound, heavier bass breakdown. Chorus vocals also fill the bass sections, boasting full-bodied harmonization. The initial two LP singles have been an insightful segue into Trivecta’s first album-sized body of work.
