After giving “DRÜNK” something of a heavy pour during recent sets, spüke is sending the former ID to digital streaming platforms, making for a skittering jolt of modernized acid-house. A production that, per spüke, channels acid-house while courting contemporary tech-house in its robotic vocal, grainy kicks, vintage synths, and 303s, “DRÜNK” is a hammering addition to spüke’s arsenal of live artillery. The aforementioned elements culminate in the emerging artist’s “second hard house original that expresses the intoxicating feeling of hearing acid-house live.” Arriving with grit and unbridled energy, “DRÜNK” is the “Emanate” producer’s first original production of the calendar year.
