Alesso contributes to ‘Blade Runner: Black Lotus’ soundtrack with Danna Paola on ‘Rescue Me’

Just a week removed from an all-time loop through EDC Las Vegas‘ kineticFIELD, Alesso is adding another titanic feat to his never-ending record of career wins. After providing a sliver of PUBGM’s in-game soundtrack with his CORSAK and Stray Kids-assisted single “Going Dumb” this past spring, Alesso is diving back into the entertainment universe for an appearance on the soundtrack for the forthcoming anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus, which is scheduled for release on November 13. While new Alesso music will never be taken for granted, everyone assuredly had to triple take when they saw his name pop up alongside Latin superstar Danna Paola’s name on the October 29 release radar. As Alesso has always done and will continue to do time and time again, “Rescue Me” is another open-and-shut case of his far-reaching production scope and indulges in a darker, synth-pop conduct that the Swedish great hadn’t really explored thus far. Scoring music in either film or TV was something that had always remained on Alesso’s career wishlist and he’s finally able to cross that off after more than a decade, with “Rescue Me” serving as a more than fitting musical ingredient for the upcoming Adult Swim series.Listen to Alesso’s Blade Runner: Black Lotus contribution below and relive his EDC Las Vegas set here, which includes two of his fan-favorite IDs in “Somebody Like You” and “Rave All Night.”Featured image: Eddie DiazTags: , ,
