Doggo makes Confession introduction with charged-up ID, ‘Shoot to Kill’

When Tchami manned the decks in Washington, D.C. in June for one of Echostage’s first events since the pandemic, the Confession head initiated his return to the nation’s capital with one absolutely electric ID. Promptly traced back to Doggo‘s production desk, “Shoot to Kill” could’ve only wound up on the Parisian’s imprint, with the West Coast native now formally signaling his debut non-self-released offering. The crowd reaction said it all, with the thousands gathered in the depths of Echostage eliciting a collective roar the moment they heard it. On “Shoot to Kill,” Doggo makes his first-ever label showing count tenfold, supplying both Confession with a glitchy, charged-up bass-house scorcher and Tchami with a sure-fire fixture in his sets going forward. Doggo’s global introduction to the house music stage proves to be nothing short of auspicious, with him taking a moment to share appreciation back to the two for “giving a new face like [him] a chance.” Featured image: Doggo/InstagramTags: , ,
