Colliding with labelmates Koven, REAPER unleashes his ballistic interpretation of the UK duo’s track “Shut My Mouth” in his return to Monstercat. The Bassrush Records Insomniac TV ID sprouts a distinctly divergent identity from its predecessor, despite both living in the bass territory. The REAPER rework brings a notably faster pace in consistency with his genre stylings. Coupled with the original’s fluorescent vocals and thrashing drops, the new invigoration morphs dance music’s commercial elements with a long-beloved structure resulting in one concoction of cutting-edge appeal.
