Run The Jewels enlist Royal Blood for remix of ‘The Ground Below’

Run The Jewels have revisited their long-awaited RTJ 4 in their deployment of the album’s latest remix take. Clashing once again with their rock penchants, the hip-hop duo recruit English outfit Royal Blood for a rework of “The Ground Below” as they clock in another crossover cut to their expansive arsenal. With reenergized guitar lines and new vocals on the chorus from Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr, the aptly dubbed “Royal Jewels Mix” unites the best of both worlds, combining hard-hitting rap delivery and alt-rock elements into one fast-paced outcome. The release follows Run The Jewel’s Cyberpunk 2007 feature, “No Save Point” and collaborative effort with Travis Barker, “Forever.” Stream below. Featured image: Getty Images/Theo WargoTags: , , ,
