David Guetta grabs credit on BLACKPINK’s new album

David Guetta adds another standout credit to his lengthy discography, this time on BLACKPINK’s first Korean studio album, The Album, contributing to the LP’s “Lovesick Girls.” The track has an electronic feel accompanied by a catchy synth melody—where Guetta’s unique imprint on the song comes in isn’t immediately clear, but the track has quickly become a fan-favorite on the newly released project. The South Korean K-pop outfit’s newest long play received their highest Billboard charting single, “Ice Cream,” featuring Selena Gomez, in addition to a feature from Cardi B on “Bet You Wanna.”This year, Guetta released his ninth collaboration with Sia, “Let’s Love”—an 80s-inspired pop feeler, along with more material from his Jack Back house alias, a reggaeton-house crossover “Pa’ La Culture,” and a collaborative EP with MORTONNew Rave.
