Run The Jewels join forces with Travis Barker on ‘Forever’

After releasing their long-awaited studio album RTJ 4, Run The Jewels have returned with a new single, “Forever.” Reuniting with Travis Barker, El-P and Killer Mike take on high-geared energy and clever verse exchanges on the latest cut. The hip-hop duo and Barker previously joined forces on “All Due Respect” from Run The Jewels’ 2014 LP, RTJ 2 with the Blink-182 drummer making a number of appearances in the former’s live performances. 100% of the proceeds from “Forever” will go towards the Next Level Boys Academy, a mentoring organization dedicated to diversion and leadership programs for young men.

Powered by anthemic rock qualities, “Forever” features hard-hitting rap delivery characteristic of Run The Jewels. Barker’s bombastic drums set the foundation for El-P and Killer Mike’s lyrical trades, as they reference Rasputin and Putin in their incisive wordplays.
