Modern Machines listeners have been accustomed to catching the producer at New York’s Marquee Nightclub, among other electronic localities. As suspensions on live music events and venues across the nation continue to keep club doors shuttered for the foreseeable future, Modern Machines’ following won’t have an opportunity to catch the crowdpleaser behind the decks anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean that Modern Machines’ content stream has concurrently stopped.
Following releases on Heldeep Records, Armada, and Musical Freedom, the New York native has returned to the electronic release ring where he’s now making “Waves” with his second SUGARWOLF feature. The upbeat sonic sequel with the featured vocalist follows the duo’s prior encounter in 2018, “Losing My Mind.” Touting the vibrancy that first put Modern Machines on the map and has enduringly kept him in the spotlight since, “Waves” is Modern Machines’ third original production of the 2020 calendar year, with more assuredly to come.
