Illenium’s ‘Ascend’ peaks on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart – Dancing Astronaut

The title of Illenium’s third studio album, Ascend, seems only to have predicted the rapid upward trajectory of the LP’s movement, as the project has just clocked in at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Album chart. The highly anticipated production bestowed a total of 17 brand new tracks upon Illenium listeners.

Ascend boasts hordes of high-profile features. Said The Sky, Bipolar Sunshine, X Ambassadors, Jon Bellion, and Bahari represent merely a sampling of the multifarious artists who made guest appearances on the album. Released in the time leading up to Ascend’s arrival, Illenium’s celebrated collaboration with The Chainsmokers, “Takeaway” served as a resounding precursor and already voraciously streamed highlight in the LP’s track listing.
