Winter is approaching, which means it’s time to gear up for some extreme sports. But what can extreme sports offer music fans? For one: A stacked lineup at the 2020 Winter X Games that snowballs the event into full-fledged festival status. The Winter arm of the X Games will see its 23rd year hosting some of the world’s greatest and most daring athletes, returning to the iconic ski town of Aspen, Colorado, from January 23-26.
Topping next year’s billing is Alesso, who’s had a great 2019 so far, releasing volume one of his PROGRESSO MIXTAPE in March and, more recently, collaborating on “In The Middle” with mystery producer SUMR CAMP. Aspen also secured fan-favorite melodic bass producer Illenium, who rounded out the summer with his third studio album, ASCEND, while pushing through the length of the festival circuit. He’s shown no signs of slowing down, recently headlining NYC’s Madison Square Garden with openers Adventure Club and more.
To precede its top-of-the-ticket talent, the X Games organizers are hitting all genres stops with certified platinum rappers Rae Sremmurd and R&B superstar Bazzi, both frequent Billboard chart-toppers.
To experience these performances at the GEICO Music Stage, GA and VIP tickets/packages are available now. Admission to the action sports competitions and festival village at the Buttermilk Mountain base are free to the public. Head to their website for tickets and more info. Daily lineup schedule below:
