Hippie Sabotage Remain Unapologetic About Their Actions

Just days after Hippie Sabotage’s attack on security at What The Festival was uploaded for the public to see, Hippie Sabotage remains unapologetic about their recent actions.

According to eyewitnesses, Hippie Sabotage went on stage by saying “we are playing a hard set and if you dont like it, fuck you, go talk shit on facebook.” The sound guys told Hippie Sabotage to chill out and not mishandle the microphone moving forward. Hippie Sabotage proceeded to disobey What The Festival’s wishes and then tosses three mics into the pool. It was only a matter of time before event organizer try to remove them from the stage and attack them.

Before the video was posted, Hippie Sabotage said “It was an unfortunate event that placed us in an unsafe situation in the middle of our performance. We feel terrible that the fans didn’t get the full set, but we love performing for Portland and will be back.” All of the evidence though does not agree with their statements.

While Hippie Sabotage has not retweeted any tweets since the video went public, Hippie Sabotage has liked many of their fans post congratulating them on the chokehold. Take a look at the screenshot below:

Furthermore, Hippie Sabotage has taken to Periscope to insult Ekali, What The Festival and the “burned out tweekers” that attended What The Festival.

Yo good vibes only @HippieSabotage 😂 also I'm not trying to "make a name off you" I have my own career. 👌🏻 pic.twitter.com/1DR28YzGOn

We’ve reached out to Low End Theory, Electric Forest, Pemberton Music Festival and Summer Set Festival to see if there will be any changes made to their lineups following these recent events. No word has been spoken yet. Meanwhile, there has been a petition asking all future venues and festivals to blacklist Hippie Sabotage from their events. Check out that petition by clicking here.
