Reports an active shooter at YouTube’s San Bruno, California headquarters have been reported on social media. Local news station as well as the San Bruno Police have confirmed that they “are responding to an active shooter.”
The San Bruno Police have informed people to stay away from 901 Cherry Avenue, where the YouTube headquarters are located.
From a Twitter thread, YouTube’s product manager Todd Sherman said that employees first thought that there was an earthquake. People began to run out their meetings, but before reaching the exit were informed that someone had a gun.
